S 35-letnimi delovnimi izkušnjami je ena najbolj izkušenih trenerk in pedagoginj.
Je ustanoviteljica pilates tehnike na reformerjih na Hrvaškem in lastnica studia z najdaljšo tradicijo vadbe pilatesa na Hrvaškem. Od leta 2012 do 2021 je na Fitnes fakulteti poučevala tehniko pilatesa.
Po končanem izobraževanju na priznani šoli Anne Marie Cove v Milanu leta 2001 je Asja začela samostojno kariero, leta 2003 pa je odprla prvi pilates studio v regiji.
Svoje usposabljanje je nadaljevala z učenjem od članov prve generacije inštruktorjev pilatesa – strokovnjakov, ki so se pilatesa naučili neposredno od samega Josepha H. Pilatesa – Mary Bowen, Ron Fletcher, Lolita San Miguel in Kathleen Stanford-Grant. Redno se udeležuje številnih mednarodnih konvencij in delavnic pilatesa.
Je stalna sodelavka in trenerka vodilnega in najdlje trajajočega nacionalnega športno-izobraževalnega projekta Active Croatia, ki se je začel leta 2012 z namenom promocije kulture zdravega in aktivnega življenja.
Vse svoje poklicno življenje je preživela v svetu vrhunskih športov in fitnesa.
Bila je tudi dvakratna državna podprvakinja države v bodybuildingu in članica hrvaške bodybuilding ekipe, ki je nastopala na svetovnih prvenstvih.

To become a great Pilates Teacher, you must master many different requirements.
Apart from the fundementals and exercises, you will learn the philosophy behind the Method, the history, the key Pilates priciples, the connection between other systems such as yoga, Gyrotonics, lifting weights and martial arts.
Then we have to go a step furher, and integrate the knowledge we have now on Back Mechanics and Back Safety, and see how and if it fits all the exercises.
Which criteria to follow and how to replace some exercises and movements..
How to use the knowledge you already have and integrate it into your teaching.
When to change and above all-why, the classical order of exercises. And many other things that we make a huge difference in your teaching quality.

OPOZORILO: Opravljen tečaj Pilates reformer inštruktor ali Pilates reformer trener ni dovolj, da postanete strokovni delavec v športu. Zato morate imeti ustrezno izobrazbo ali ustrezno usposobljenost v skladu z Zakonom v športu in biti vpisani v razvid strokovno izobraženih in usposobljenih delavcev v športu. V kolikor to želite postati, lahko opravite enega izmed osnovnih tečajev na FZS (npr. pilates inštruktor), nato oddate vlogo vlogo za priznavanje kompetenc za strokovno delo v športu za naziv Strokovni delavec 1. stopnje na OKS in se po opravljenem izpitu lahko vpišete v razvid Strokovnih delavcev v športu.
